Hypertension Practitioner Recognition Programme Published on 27th February, 2013

SAHS is pleased to announce the Hypertension Practitioner recognition programme, which is aimed to improve knowledge about the awareness, diagnosis and treatment of hypertension by encouraging and rewarding attendance at the biennial South African Hypertension Society congress. The programme will be directed towards specialists, primary care medical practitioners, pharmacists and nurse practitioners.

To qualify for the programme the practitioner needs to a member of SAHS and attend the full Hypertension Congress. The qualification will be valid for 2 years and in recognition the names of the practitioners will be publicized on the SAHS website under the categories outlined above. We look forward to your participation in this novel and exciting programme. The next SAHS congress will be held in Durban from 22nd -25th August 2013 and will be hosted jointly with the Stroke Society.
